Bus parking is available but please advise our School Aged Education Officers to ensure they are prepared for your arrival. Alighting on Murray Street outside the Centre is not allowed. Maps of how to get to and park at FEHC will be sent with the booking confirmation.
Government Schools on the Bushfire Zone Register are required by the Education Department to have a Stand Alone Bushfire Plan in accordance with The Principals Guide to Bushfire.

The Office of Bushfire Risk Management (OBRM) published its Map of Bushfire Prone Areas in December 2015. The maps can be viewed at www.dfes.wa.gov.au/OBRM .
Designated bushfire prone areas have been identified by the Fire and Emergency Services Commissioner as being subject, or likely to be subject, to bushfire attack. If your school lies in a bushfire prone area, you may want to review your school’s Bushfire Plan.
If your school or students live in a bushfire prone area you may wish to include bushfire education as part of your school’s curriculum. Teachers can access free teaching resources, including Bushfire Patrol (developed in partnership with the Department of Education) on this website.
Involve Your Kids – Bushfire Survival Planning (for parents)
Children can get involved in planning for bushfire survival. Here you can find tips for parents on what children can do when developing and practising Bushfire Survival Plans. Developed by key Australian researchers within the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Commonwealth Research Centre, place this in your school newsletter at the start of and during the bushfire season.

Children that repeatedly experiment with fire and do not respond to parental intervention or education may benefit from our Juvenile and Family Fire Awareness (JAFFA) Program. This FREE, confidential program is delivered by firefighters in the family home. It teaches children and their family about the consequences of fire and helps them to develop fire safe skills.
