Documentation lodged with DFES as required by Building Regulations 2012 (as amended), may include a Fire Engineering Brief (FEB) and/or a Fire Safety Engineering Report (FSER) where alternative building solutions are proposed.
DFES may support an application for an alternative building solution that meets conditions as outlined in GL-15 Fire Safety Engineered Performance Solutions. However prior to discussions with DFES, applicants are advised to consult the relevant local government building department or other permit issuing authority.
All FEB’s and FSER’s submitted to DFES must be lodged using the following Electronic Lodgement Form DFES Plan Lodgement Form.
